Within a few months, Oh-Ya! in Rosebud has already been making its mark on the Mornington Peninsula fussy foodie landscape! Why? Well, Sunny has brought to Rosebud all the experience that he’s acquired whilst working over many states in some of the best Indian Restaurants in Australia!
Oh-Ya’s interior is fresh, light with colours that reflect Mornington Peninsula’s sand and beach, which is perfect; the Rosebud Beach and Pier are just a few steps away, within sight of the outdoor dining section.
Oh-Ya’s menu takes dishes from all over India, (including some street food favourites) featuring many traditional favourites as well as some rare-to-find ones that you will not see at the usual Indian restaurants on the Mornington Peninsula or elsewhere in Australia. With Sunny’s strong influence, the chef injects into the food a mix of ingredients and techniques that most would not simply be able to execute at home! From your first bite you know that!

Meet Sunny
10 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE – Director
An international hotel management graduate from Le Cordon Bleu South Australia, Sunny has amassed ten years of experience working in renowned hotel chains such as Langham, Pullman Adelaide, and Sofitel Sydney. Now, he is embarking on a new venture by opening his own restaurants, beginning with Rosebud. Drawing from his Indian heritage and the extensive knowledge he has gained throughout his career, Sunny aims to create a unique dining experience for his customers, as well as running a cool vibe cafe and gelato place that adds an extra layer of delight to his hospitality offerings.
